SandBagAnimations needed a portfolio site that could serve both independent clients looking for character work and larger network TV studios evaluating a freelance animator. The brief called for a clean, navigable showcase that balanced personality with professionalism.
The pre-existing web presence was scattered and hard to maintain. This project aimed to bring everything under one roof.
Solo designer and developer. Responsible for the full development from initial concept via Figma design, HTML/CSS/JS implementation, domain configuration, and ongoing maintenance. Also responsible for handling SEO strategy, Google Search Console setup, and iterative mobile responsiveness improvements post-launch.
One of the main goals with this was to make a portfolio that reads immediately as professional to both independent clients and studio HR teams. Establishing a maintainable codebase with a desktop-first CSS architecture and clean breakpoints for tablet and mobile was essential, while creating the layout in a fun yet intuitive manner.
